BRIGADIER GENERAL JOHN C. MILLARD

Brig. Gen. John C. "J.C." Millard is the Deputy Director of Strategic Plans, Requirements and Programs, Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. General Millard assists the director with the responsibilities for force structure planning, programming, doctrine and requirements for the nation's airlift and air refueling force. 

General Millard entered the Air Force in 1991 as a distinguished graduate of the ROTC program at the University of New Mexico. He began his flying career at Dover AFB, Delaware and has held a variety of joint, major command and NATO staff positions. General Millard has commanded at the squadron, group and twice at the wing level. He was the last 376th Air Expeditionary Wing Commander at Manas Air Base, Kyrgyzstan, and prior to his current assignment, served as the Executive Officer to the Commander, USTRANSCOM, Scott AFB, Illinois.

General Millard is a command pilot with more than 3,400 hours and 380 combat hours.
